Hi Geoff, Tony told us today in lab meeting about this blog. What a good idea. Hope you find something good to eat. I have been having regular root beer floats ever since you mentioned them last week - boy are they good!
Hi Everyone .. Chris here writing for Geoff. We've had an enjoyable weekend being visited by our daughter Rebecca, her husband Cameron and their son Declan. Saturday night Geoff gave a talk at the Pulmonary Residents Graduation Dinner .. a lovely night and great to see old friends and colleagues. The Iowa Foundation introduced and launched its fundraising bid on Saturday night to raise monies with a view to creating a Chair in Geoff's name - a great honor. Sunday we were visited by old friends Ron and Sonia Ettinger and enjoyed lots of good conversation. Eating still poses a challenge - Geoff never knows what he feels like until its time to eat so we are exploring many take-out options these days. Cough still persists and sleeping is difficult. We do though continue to enjoy receiving messages from friends and are so thankful for their continued care of us. Today (Tuesday) Geoff is working on a paper in conjunction with Tony Fanchi. Do keep in touch.
